
Omotayo Gbengaojo
Omotayo Gbengaojo is a board-certified Psychiatric mental health Nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Centre (ANCC). She obtained her bachelor’s in nursing from Grand Canyon University and master’s degree from the University of Texas at Tyler.
Omotayo or “Tayo” as fondly called is a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals across the lifespan. With a strong foundation in both nursing and psychiatric care, she brings a holistic approach to treating mental health conditions, focusing not only on the symptoms but also on the emotional, psychological, and social aspects of each patient’s well-being.
Her clinical experience has equipped her with the skills to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use issues. She works collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize patient-centered care. By utilizing pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, and other interventions, she strives to improve the overall quality of life for those she serves.
Her passion for mental health care is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to comprehensive, personalized care in a supportive environment. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, she is dedicated to fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and understanding, while also advocating for mental health awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness.
